I was tagged
The Rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you - Crystal
2. Post the rules on your blog (this is what you are now reading).
3. List 6 random things about yourself.
4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
Six Random Things About Me:
1) I am a product of what can be the outcome of a foster child who made it through the system. I graduated from high school, did go to college, finally married a good guy, have 3 kids and one on the way. Many adults who where foster kids do not make good choices and get this far.
2) My oldest daughter has my grandmothers middle name Grace, As a child she hated me, but she got dementia as she aged and forgot and our relationship changed. I gave birth to my daughter almost a year after my grandmothers passing. I felt that I needed to pass the Grace from one great woman who God helped me forgive to his blessed Angel.
3) I to am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 24. My life was falling apart and I was powerless to stop it, and God stepped in and held me, and when it was right he showed me the error of my ways. I am not active in the church at this time due to personal reasons, however I believe before to long I will find my way back, I am hoping that as I find my way, I take my family with me.
4) I am pregnant with my 4th child. Here is the truth. I am scared to death. I keep thinking what are we thinking? Some people have done an awful job of supporting this, and it has brought me down. I have had to take a lot of things said to us with a grain of salt. I am facing this new challenge one day at a time. Once again, God, never lets go.
5) I used to be a major slob, I didn't have kids and didn't care. As I have gotten older and my family has increased, I have gotten so much better. Now I realize my job? My job is I am their mom,and that means helping them live a healthy, wonderful, clean life. I think I am doing good. Even very sick and pregnant.
6) I play the violin. Have not touched one in years and am hoping santa gets me one for Xmas. I would say my husband, but that's not gonna happen. However I would love to get one some day.
So yea I have to Tag 6 people, and I don't know that many with blogs to tag, Crystal already did it, so I say hurry up Amy, and lets hear yours Lateshia.

It is nice to see someone there for her.
Baby Pattock is doing great.

My daughter is finally old enough to realize mommy is having a baby and all that comes along with it. Before with her brother and sister shecould care less. She tells everyone we are having a baby. She was so excited that we had an ultra sound today, so as a special treat I took her with me, just us. The tech let her sit between my legs so she got front row seating. She was so fascinated by the whole experience. The tech was awesome and gave Lily her own picture of the baby. My uterus is so tilted that it was hard to see it, and to boot the baby was at the bottom of the uterus, which I knew, I can feel the baby now. The baby was looking right at us, so you don't see to much. I took a picture of the screen with my phone because when I take pictures of pictures the glare is awful. But here is my screen shot, and my daughter looking so concerned. she even told us to shhhh, the baby was sleeping. LOL

Halloween 2008
Sorry I have not written in a while. I have been stuck by the morning sickness monster and for some reason he thinks we are best friends and he is not leaving anytime soon. With that I must say I think this is a girl. In every way this pregnancy is a carbon copy of my girls and when I was pregnant with Owen it was a breeze. I wasn't sick at all. Yes I know I am only 7 weeks 3days. What do I know. I think after three kids and I was never once wrong, I think I know what I am talking about. So far I am feeling just as I should be. So yay for that. I got laid off from my job. I live in a work at will state. Means they can fire me for no good reason. Well I was "laid off, assignment complete" wanna know what that means? That means that I am pregnant and they didn't want to deal with it. Well let me tell you what. That sucks. However it got me to thinking about the kind of boss I am going to be someday. I have not told anyone about this but a few people because the truth is, I am tired of shitty things happening to us, and I am just shoving this in the toilet and moving on.
So moving on. First we went to a corn maze last week. It was 10 dollars a person. I know what I am going into business as. The owner of a corn maze. It was nothing special and people where all over it. They had to have made LOTS of money. Anyhow, so here is my family at the corn maze. Nope I am not int he picture, someone had to take it, besides they are way better looking then me right now. ;)Plus look at their faces, lily looks all goofy, Mo has no idea whats going on so she of course is smiling, and Owen is like what the heck is going on, it all looks the same. LOL. Of course there's daddy, with a map. He actually knew how to read it. Impressed? I was.

Then we carved pumpkins a couple of days later. It was so much fun. Owen tried to eat the guts raw. ICK. and Lily was all about helping daddy. I carved Owen's name into his, and daddy out did me with Lily's name on hers, her whole first name is there. Lilyannah. So here are a few pics from that.
So around this time I started to get really morning sick. I was worried that when Halloween came I would be to sick to want to go. I didn't want to miss out on taking my kids trick or treating. However I did just fine. I was only a little sick and that worked for me. Here we are last night at the Northtown mall. My two older kids where Dora and Deigo. No one really noticed because they where sitting down. Morgan was a smartie. Everyone had to stop and tell us how cute she was and what a great costume she had on. It was cool. In one picture Morgan and her cousin Joira where talking to each other. It was so cute. I love the first picture. Can you see where we are? Yea I tell ya the secret.

So it was a great Halloween season after all. I am glad its over, I am hoping to be feeling good for thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. I love being with family and spending all day cooking, laughing and gawking over the kids. Oh yea, and when all is said and done, I love to pig out. I will update more soon. I will do a belly picture when I hit my second trimester. For now, I am just bloated and fat, and needing bigger pants. Hey any of you spkanites... Have any maternity clothes left over??? Hugs to all till the next blog.

(5 week update)
Sunday, October 12, 2008
wow you have got your hands full.
I asked Lily if she wanted a brother or sister, and at first she was like brother so Owen has a friend. It was so funny. I did laugh out loud. Now she wants a sister. She had told two random strangers that "mommy put a baby in her belly" How cute is that? So Robert goes away again for the week and will be back this Friday. This weekend went so fast. Didn't help that I worked one day he was home. I have today and tomorrow off. We got a new to us queen mattress which was nice. So we are giving away our full size one. Holy buckets can you imagine Robert and I sleeping on a full with me being pregnant. oh no. Not happening. So we are freecycling and giving away tons of things today.
So yesterday I cried when it came down to he final moments of work.I have been training with a great group of photographers, there where 11 others. We all got really close. Naturally I cried when saying goodbye. They all laughed at me knowing I am a pregnant sap. Only three of those 11 will be coming with me to my location. I look back now and laugh at myself for crying, but yesterday I was really tore up. Below is a picture of just some of us that I trained with. The picture was better I took a picture of the screen with my cell phone. (I am the far right )
So I joined a new expecting club. The June 2009 expecting club from Ivillage. I hope to make new friends and lasting friendships. Lets see how long this groups lasts. The one thing I hate thought is those in the groups that are fake, or think they are better then you, or those who are very opinionated women who don't think before they post and hurt others. There is always those people, some just really get under my skin. But that's life and the Internet right?
Well I better get going. If you made it this far thanks for reading. HUGS!

WOW
one more time
Love him or loath him he nailed it on the head.
I am an ex spouse to the military, I cannot imagine what it would have been like to lose my spouse and have these differences staring me in the face. No wonder these military members don't want to be in anymore and are not going the full 20. I am not being anti 9/11 and saying those people don't deserve the money they get, but what about everyone else in our country. What about people who happen to have a husband die while he is commercial fishing for example, and the wife is now left with three kids to take care of on her own. OK. so I used my own example and no my husband is not dead, but its the same thing I am talking about. Anyhow, just thought I would share how messed up this all is.

Soft Black
So I was having one of those days where I wasn't feeling "pretty." Ever had one of those days? I could start to see all my gray hair and the need for dye. Although dong my normal red wasn't going to cut it today. I needed a change. So I went and dyed it soft black. The nice thing is, in the light you can see the red, its kinda highlighted. Anyhow, it was the first time in a while Robert actually said my hair looked good. That was what I was hoping for. Some attention about my looks. Not that I need it all the time or that I am high mantainance, but today for some odd reason I needed it. So look--------------------------->
I dyed it and this was the picture of right after. What do you think?
So today we have watched Charlie and the chocolate factory. Wanna know how many times? FOUR! In fact we are watching it again right now. Kill me now. I let Lily stay up late on Saturday nights watching the movie of her choice and pass out on the couch. I said Lily which movie tonight. She said mommy, chocolate factory. So cute. She doesn't say the whole name of movies, she just says it the way she remembers is. Like the little mermaids beginning. She calls it mermaid kingdom. She will be getting that one for Christmas.
Then tonight Mo got her first bath in the kitchen sink. Man she loved it. She had spaghetti tonight and made a BIG ole mess so straight from dinner she got a bath. She splashed EVERYWHERE. Holy moly. So here is her tonight from start to finish. She is becoming a little chunky monkey.
Well I am still not feeling up to pare yet. I still have a nasty cough, and so do the kiddos. I think the worst is the runny noses. I am wiping noses all day. YAY. Love it. So I am gonna head to bed so I can get some rest. Tomorrow I am gonna take the kids to a big park near my house so they can get some play time in. So I might do a blog for tomorrow and show off pictures from our day. HUGS to all who read this.
