Ok Crystal here is my update.

So things have not been bad. I am finally feeling better. Feelings of a girl are getting stronger everyday. I am won't know for sure till January. I am craving mountain dew like crazy. I had a scare the other day at Walmart. I hadn't eaten and was getting dizzy and had to go sit so I didn't faint. I just love that. Not really. So Christmas is fastly approaching and I am excited. A few of my friends are really helping us out. Thanks to Crystal and Brandy. Pictures of all that to come. My Baby turns one in 12 days. We will be doing cake and a few gifts at Grandma's. Then Owen turns 2 the 4th of January. Lilyannah turns 4 February 12th. See why this is a rough time of year? Anyhow, Brandy and Crystal pulled through for my kids. I cannot express how much this means to me. Robert is loving his job and that means a lot for our family, if you like your job it's easier to go.

Six Random Things About Me:

1) I am a product of what can be the outcome of a foster child who made it through the system. I graduated from high school, did go to college, finally married a good guy, have 3 kids and one on the way. Many adults who where foster kids do not make good choices and get this far.

2) My oldest daughter has my grandmothers middle name Grace, As a child she hated me, but she got dementia as she aged and forgot and our relationship changed. I gave birth to my daughter almost a year after my grandmothers passing. I felt that I needed to pass the Grace from one great woman who God helped me forgive to his blessed Angel.

3) I to am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 24. My life was falling apart and I was powerless to stop it, and God stepped in and held me, and when it was right he showed me the error of my ways. I am not active in the church at this time due to personal reasons, however I believe before to long I will find my way back, I am hoping that as I find my way, I take my family with me.

4) I am pregnant with my 4th child. Here is the truth. I am scared to death. I keep thinking what are we thinking? Some people have done an awful job of supporting this, and it has brought me down. I have had to take a lot of things said to us with a grain of salt. I am facing this new challenge one day at a time. Once again, God, never lets go.

5) I used to be a major slob, I didn't have kids and didn't care. As I have gotten older and my family has increased, I have gotten so much better. Now I realize my job? My job is I am their mom,and that means helping them live a healthy, wonderful, clean life. I think I am doing good. Even very sick and pregnant.

6) I play the violin. Have not touched one in years and am hoping santa gets me one for Xmas. I would say my husband, but that's not gonna happen. However I would love to get one some day.

So yea I have to Tag 6 people, and I don't know that many with blogs to tag, Crystal already did it, so I say hurry up Amy, and lets hear yours Lateshia.

It is nice to see someone there for her.

Lily's real paternal grandma sent her a Thanksgiving card, with stickers. The card is cute, it is a cut out turkey that she will put together. I am so glad that they are proving that they do care and not just saying it. It makes me feel good. She is gonna love the card. She has not seen it yet, I checked mail after she was in bed. So pictures to come later.

Baby Pattock is doing great.


My daughter is finally old enough to realize mommy is having a baby and all that comes along with it. Before with her brother and sister shecould care less. She tells everyone we are having a baby. She was so excited that we had an ultra sound today, so as a special treat I took her with me, just us. The tech let her sit between my legs so she got front row seating. She was so fascinated by the whole experience. The tech was awesome and gave Lily her own picture of the baby. My uterus is so tilted that it was hard to see it, and to boot the baby was at the bottom of the uterus, which I knew, I can feel the baby now. The baby was looking right at us, so you don't see to much. I took a picture of the screen with my phone because when I take pictures of pictures the glare is awful. But here is my screen shot, and my daughter looking so concerned. she even told us to shhhh, the baby was sleeping. LOL

I am so proud of her.

Lily woke up from a nap and told me she had to go potty. She not only peed but pooped too. YAY. she actually told me she had to go. I was so grateful that she did because it was not solid and I would have been sick. However, I am so proud of her and I cannot stop smiling. Finally she is getting potty trained. She has been at her new preschool for only two weeks and she has come so far already.

I made all my dr's appointments. I have an OB appointment tomorrow, and then next month an eye appointment, and then in January the dentist again. Then some time in January is when I find out the sex of this baby. I cannot wait. Anyhow I just feel like I got so much done already today. YAY.

It's starting to sink in.

I dunno what hit me today. It has suddenly kicked in that I am going to be a mother of four by this time next year. My stomach is already sticking out. I hide it because if people ask how far along I am and I say I am 9 weeks. I just appear fat at that point. God forbid I just had two babies last year. I suddenly got the OMG what am I doing jitters. Its to late to go back now. I know I wouldn't want to anyhow, this is a great thing. I just think about the future, and the what if's start to eat me alive. I am looking forward to the beginning of December and enjoying the holidays with my family. I know my second trimester will be here and I will be feeling much better.

Our little bean

I went and had an ultra sound done because truth is I was having what turned out to be cyst pains but also an un easy feeling so I had it done. My little bean, which we are now calling Molly Leigh had a 170 bpm heart beat. She ( I am sure its a girl) looked really good and healthy. She has an offical due date of June 14th 2009. I feel amazing

I am so blessed. I have three beautiful kids with one on the way. The OB said the baby measured right on time. I get my first ultra sound on the 25th of November. I cannot wait to see my little bean.


Well Robert finally got a great job that pays him what he wants until he goes back to fishing next month. We found out a few days ago that we are going to his family's house for Thanksgiving. I am so excited. The kids are going to have a blast. Anyhow, just wanted to update a little bit, I know there are people who come here often and would get disappointed if I didn't. Lily started preschool today


Today was my big girls first day of preschool. She got a new monkey back pack and was so excited to wear it. We together got her ready for school, she ate a great breakfast, and then we brushed her hair and teeth. She picked out a cute outfit. We put her snack and juice box in her back along with some other things. She put her back pack on right away. Then off to school we went. You would have thought she had been going there for ever. Halloween 2008




Hey everyone,

Sorry I have not written in a while. I have been stuck by the morning sickness monster and for some reason he thinks we are best friends and he is not leaving anytime soon. With that I must say I think this is a girl. In every way this pregnancy is a carbon copy of my girls and when I was pregnant with Owen it was a breeze. I wasn't sick at all. Yes I know I am only 7 weeks 3days. What do I know. I think after three kids and I was never once wrong, I think I know what I am talking about. So far I am feeling just as I should be. So yay for that. I got laid off from my job. I live in a work at will state. Means they can fire me for no good reason. Well I was "laid off, assignment complete" wanna know what that means? That means that I am pregnant and they didn't want to deal with it. Well let me tell you what. That sucks. However it got me to thinking about the kind of boss I am going to be someday. I have not told anyone about this but a few people because the truth is, I am tired of shitty things happening to us, and I am just shoving this in the toilet and moving on.

So moving on. First we went to a corn maze last week. It was 10 dollars a person. I know what I am going into business as. The owner of a corn maze. It was nothing special and people where all over it. They had to have made LOTS of money. Anyhow, so here is my family at the corn maze. Nope I am not int he picture, someone had to take it, besides they are way better looking then me right now. ;)Plus look at their faces, lily looks all goofy, Mo has no idea whats going on so she of course is smiling, and Owen is like what the heck is going on, it all looks the same. LOL. Of course there's daddy, with a map. He actually knew how to read it. Impressed? I was.



Then we carved pumpkins a couple of days later. It was so much fun. Owen tried to eat the guts raw. ICK. and Lily was all about helping daddy. I carved Owen's name into his, and daddy out did me with Lily's name on hers, her whole first name is there. Lilyannah. So here are a few pics from that.







So around this time I started to get really morning sick. I was worried that when Halloween came I would be to sick to want to go. I didn't want to miss out on taking my kids trick or treating. However I did just fine. I was only a little sick and that worked for me. Here we are last night at the Northtown mall. My two older kids where Dora and Deigo. No one really noticed because they where sitting down. Morgan was a smartie. Everyone had to stop and tell us how cute she was and what a great costume she had on. It was cool. In one picture Morgan and her cousin Joira where talking to each other. It was so cute. I love the first picture. Can you see where we are? Yea I tell ya the secret.




So it was a great Halloween season after all. I am glad its over, I am hoping to be feeling good for thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. I love being with family and spending all day cooking, laughing and gawking over the kids. Oh yea, and when all is said and done, I love to pig out. I will update more soon. I will do a belly picture when I hit my second trimester. For now, I am just bloated and fat, and needing bigger pants. Hey any of you spkanites... Have any maternity clothes left over??? (5 week update)


So I will post often about my updates, belly pics and how I am feeling.

No morning sickenss yet just tired as ever.
My pants are tight and I already am feeling bloated and need bigger pants. Thats my update for now,

wow you have got your hands full.

So far feeling good I am gong into my 5th week. I am really tired and have only had a few times where I had waves of nausea. I have told everyone in my family and they took it better then I thought they would. I went out and bought LOTS of bottled water. I am actually drinking it. for those of you that know me, that's really good for me. I haven't got set up with an OB yet, BUT.... I went and bought some prenatal vitamins. They don't have a very weird smell so they are easy to take. Just so you all know, no belly pictures til about month 5 or 6. Owen and Morgan gave me a big belly, so I won't show until then, now it will look like a flabby mess.

I asked Lily if she wanted a brother or sister, and at first she was like brother so Owen has a friend. It was so funny. I did laugh out loud. Now she wants a sister. She had told two random strangers that "mommy put a baby in her belly" How cute is that? So Robert goes away again for the week and will be back this Friday. This weekend went so fast. Didn't help that I worked one day he was home. I have today and tomorrow off. We got a new to us queen mattress which was nice. So we are giving away our full size one. Holy buckets can you imagine Robert and I sleeping on a full with me being pregnant. oh no. Not happening. So we are freecycling and giving away tons of things today.

So yesterday I cried when it came down to he final moments of work.I have been training with a great group of photographers, there where 11 others. We all got really close. Naturally I cried when saying goodbye. They all laughed at me knowing I am a pregnant sap. Only three of those 11 will be coming with me to my location. I look back now and laugh at myself for crying, but yesterday I was really tore up. Below is a picture of just some of us that I trained with. So I joined a new expecting club. The June 2009 expecting club from Ivillage. I hope to make new friends and lasting friendships. Lets see how long this groups lasts. The one thing I hate thought is those in the groups that are fake, or think they are better then you, or those who are very opinionated women who don't think before they post and hurt others. There is always those people, some just really get under my skin. But that's life and the Internet right?

The life that is mine

Who ever said life was a breeze lied. Nothing really great happened today. Robert went to help out his step dad and earn some extra bucks, so again I was with out him today. It was rainy and gross out today so we had to stay inside the whole day. No real blow ups from the kids just some whiney moments, and begging for chocolate factory and juice. So we watched charlie and the chocolate factory, over and over and over. Morgan took a nap which was great. I played a lot with my kids. I made the wise choice to only have one job instead of two. I love my job at the preschool, however it is minimun wage and often I am sent home for the day only having worked two hours. Do the math, in a two week check I got not even 130 dollars. It was not what I was hoping for. So I chose to stick with the photography job at Sears. It is part time for now, but that means 20-30 hours a week and better then minimum wage. Plus discount at Sears and free pictures from my work of my kids. I did the cowrdly thing and called my boss at the preschool and left a message. The thing is, I live in a work at will state. I can quit when I want and they cannot do a thing about it, and I could be fired for no reason as well. So I am hoping not to get a call on Monday, but I am sure I will. So that was a tough thing I had to do today. A good friend of mine called me today and released some of my boredom. Thanks Amy, and then at 7:30pm my honey came home, I had made dinner about an hour before, and so I reheated his dinner for him. Put all my kids to bed by 8pm. YAY me. Then got my honey a bowl of ice cream and am now blogging about the life that is mine. Now that I have gotten this far, I guess my day was a good day after all. I think it started out bad because of this one thing I did this morning that didn't turn out the way I wanted. So anyhow, how was your day? Are you having a good weekend? I hope so, ya know I have to tell people this. Lets see who is paying attention. just another manic Wednesday!




So ever had a large glass of Koolaid I mean one of those large cups from 711? Well I have one. Filled with grape koolaid, and my ice? Yea reusable ice cubes. They are so pretty. Wanna see?

Now are those not the coolest ice cubes ever? Anyhow, so can you tell that I am bored. I am so tired and yet I cannot sleep. I don't sleep well alone. I cannot wait till Robert comes back. I know it was only four days but I still miss him. Well lets change the subject.


right now I am messaging with an old friend. Let me tel ya something, this girl and I what a weird team we where. I remember one time I went to her house and we dyed her hair, well she used a nice towel to dry her hair. The first time I met her mom was the next following moments. She ripped her and I a new asshole for using a good towel. LOL. She is gonna read this and laugh. I think then she cried.


Well lets do weird memories about my friends, ok here is one about Mrs. Pickering. She is a gal I have been great friends with since 1998. Yea ten friggen years. HOLY SHIT. This is how we met. Don't ask questions about what you don't understand from this. Just read it.

I was waiting at a city bus stop. This nerdy girl comes up to me(I kid you not, she is beautiful now that she knows how to dress, put on makeup and do her hair) Anyhow she says. "Are you Joanne?" What did you just call me Joanne? How do you know me. She said I saw your picture in the ILP photo album. Needless to say, we have been friends ever since. We have had some weird times. This is Crystal and I after we graduated high school. YES WE ARE MATCHING! We rock!

Home alone during the week.

So Robert has had problems with getting a job. Not gonna go into all of that but it came down to going to a company and having them find him a job. Finally he got one. Its a temp job but is not local. So he has to drive there and then come home on the weekend. He will be making a lot of money so we made the choice for him to go and for me to suck it up. I didn't cry or anything when he left. I have been with out him before and besides this is just 4 days and I will see him again. However it is a little quiet. I do miss him already. He will be home Friday night and leave again Monday morning. So stop in and say hi to me. I had to get a sub for work. Trust me he will be making 4 times more money in the two weeks then I would make in two months. So I have a sub taking over for me at work. So I have two weeks with my kiddos. What ever am I gonna do? There is a park near here that my kids and I will be going to a lot. I can't really go anywhere. Sucks to be broke. Anyhow, just updating my dull humdrum life with you all.

Lilyannah got glasses.

So at first she was so happy to have them and seemed she could see so much better. However those of you who wear glasses know that when you get new glasses your eyes adjust and sometimes it hurts. So anyhow, after like ten minutes she didn't want them on anymore and wanted to take them off. When I told her to leave them on she got mad at me. Here is what she looks like with her glasses.

So today I had posted about my opinion upon seeing Obama not raising his hand to his heart while what appeared to be the national anthem or the pledge of allegiance. Anyhow, I got my ass handed to me. I want to let everyone know. I am not claiming to be smart about this. In fact I know I have MASSIVE ignorance when it comes to all the facts regarding the election. I am trying to get every ones opinions on all of this, but people are only coming to look at the blog and not actually comment. Rather go back to ivillage or myspace and hand my ass to me. LOVE public humiliation. Anyhow, if you have any links to sites that have actual facts, feel free to let me know, I want to make the best choice for my one vote.

If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000 all the way up to $4.7 million. If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable. Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt. Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers. We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well. You see where this is going, don't you? Folks! , this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense? However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month. I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting." -- Rush Limbaugh

I am an ex spouse to the military, I cannot imagine what it would have been like to lose my spouse and have these differences staring me in the face. No wonder these military members don't want to be in anymore and are not going the full 20. I am not being anti 9/11 and saying those people don't deserve the money they get, but what about everyone else in our country. What about people who happen to have a husband die while he is commercial fishing for example, and the wife is now left with three kids to take care of on her own. OK. so I used my own example and no my husband is not dead, but its the same thing I am talking about. Anyhow, just thought I would share how messed up this all is.

So I was having one of those days where I wasn't feeling "pretty." Ever had one of those days? I could start to see all my gray hair and the need for dye. Although dong my normal red wasn't going to cut it today. I needed a change. So I went and dyed it soft black. The nice thing is, in the light you can see the red, its kinda highlighted. Anyhow, it was the first time in a while Robert actually said my hair looked good. That was what I was hoping for. Some attention about my looks. Not that I need it all the time or that I am high mantainance, but today for some odd reason I needed it. So look--------------------------->

So today we have watched Charlie and the chocolate factory. Wanna know how many times? FOUR! In fact we are watching it again right now. Kill me now. I let Lily stay up late on Saturday nights watching the movie of her choice and pass out on the couch. I said Lily which movie tonight. She said mommy, chocolate factory. So cute. She doesn't say the whole name of movies, she just says it the way she remembers is. Like the little mermaids beginning. She calls it mermaid kingdom. She will be getting that one for Christmas.







Then tonight Mo got her first bath in the kitchen sink. Man she loved it. She had spaghetti tonight and made a BIG ole mess so straight from dinner she got a bath. She splashed EVERYWHERE. Holy moly. So here is her tonight from start to finish. She is becoming a little chunky monkey.

Well I am still not feeling up to pare yet. I still have a nasty cough, and so do the kiddos. I think the worst is the runny noses. I am wiping noses all day. YAY. Love it. So I am gonna head to bed so I can get some rest. Tomorrow I am gonna take the kids to a big park near my house so they can get some play time in. I think my son....

Today

What a day today has been. We got up early and started our day out yard saling. Is that how you spell that? Hmmm anyhow, we stopped at a few good ones. I got some clothes for the kids. Got some turtles for my collection. Some things for my bow business. Business can I even call it that if I haven't really started it yet? So I ordered pizza for dinner because I just don't feel good enough to cook. Then we stuck in Charlie and the chocolate factory and have been just hanging out. I have been thinking about today's events. In the middle of our day, Michelle called, a gal I went to high school with. It was so nice talking to her. I had never before. She was always a nice girl and nice to those around her but we where in different crowds and never had a reason to talk to each other. Anyhow so we talked in a way like we had been talking for years. making plans of getting together. She was so sweet. She wants to head the reunion with me not instead of me. I got this warm feeling like I was finally accepted. I never realized how much that would mean to me. So we agreed to get some more gals together and meet up in a couple weeks and start going gung ho on this. I can't wait. So I have had idea's running through my head all day. I went to work today happy and loving life. The kids where great. There is this little girl who has clung to me. She cannot leave me alone at all. I don't mind it, although sometimes it is a bit much. It all started because she wanted to play little red ridding hood. My mistake. I played with her for a good 45 minutes just her and I. She called me grandma the whole time. It kinda stuck cause now the kids call me grandma. Its funny. There are these two kids I adore a brother sister combo. I think they remind me so much of Lily and Owen is why I like them so much. Their mom was pregnant and when she had the baby they would be staying home. She just had her baby yesterday and so I won't get to see them till after January. I felt kinda sad not seeing them today. I hope they enjoy their new brother. Their mom is a trooper for sure. OK well the movie is over. I cannot believe how much Lily loves that movie. She sat through the whole thing. Well I am off to make some bows. wish me luck!

Being sick

Is the worst. I started out sneezing my head off at work. Feeling like I was going to explode. I came home and Robert said I could go take a nap. So I went into the bedroom and laid down. As I was laying there I got worse, I couldn't swallow, everything was running down the back of my throat. It was awful. So I stayed in bed all night and all Saturday. My wonderful man took care of the kiddos while I tried to get better. It was a battle if I have ever had one. I still feel a bit sick, but so much better. I am going to head in to town to meet my mom and get some stuff from her, but over all my day is spent at home. That was my weekend. Fun huh?

switching the kid's rooms

So when the kids woke up today, and I was giving then breakfast, I noticed Lily and Owen had scratches on them. They are literally beating each other up. So we did some room changes today. Miss Lily gets her own room and Owen and Morgan are going to share. It already seems to be a great choice. Lily has spent tons of time playing in her new room. Owen went to bed right away not having someone to bug him. He loves Lily but they sometimes have a hard time sharing and that causes them to fight. Owen seemed to like this arrangement great too, not having so many girlie toys. So we did a lot of cleaning and organizing and getting the kids situated. So that's what we did today. It was a nice relaxing Sunday.

Lily is potty training. YAY

So today Lily asked if she could wear her panties. I wanted to say no but I let her anyhow. Not long after I thought she needs to go potty if she is going to wear the panties. So we sat her down on the potty and she went. She peed. I was so proud of her. She wore her panties for the rest of the day and didn't have an accident. After dinner she told daddy she had to poop. So she went on the potty, and sure enough was pooping, she was there for about 5 minutes and was all mommy I am doing it. and would lean over to look. (it was really funny) I asked her if she was done and she said no and she really wasn't. I let her have her alone time. I came back about 5 minutes later and asked if she was done, she said no and to leave her alone. trying not to laugh I let her be. Finally she was done, she wiped and got in the bath tub and yelled to me she was done. I cannot even express how happy I am at this moment. Everyone said she would start to potty train when she was ready. I was getting nervous because she is turning four in a few months and still no signs of interest. So from here on out, Lily will be wearing her big girl panties(Disney princesses) and potty training. This was perfect timing because she is going to preschool soon. YAY for my big girl.

well as many of you know, I put out resumes awhile back. I finally got offered a position at a preschool near my home. (HUGE GAS SAVER) I love it. I finally found my calling. Lily likes going to work with mommy. I can bring my kids if I need to which is nice.I have such a great group of kids. They are pretty well behaved and have wonderful personalities. well I just wanted to update everyone on life. Loving it.

Robert is coming home!

Well the past few days have been crazy. Robert was supposed to leave Sunday to go commercial fishing. When we got to the airport Sunday morning they said the ticket wasn't paid for. So we went back home. Then it turns out it was a glitch on behalf of Alaska airlines. So he was put on a flight for 7:30pm that night. So back to the airport he went. I cried twice in one day. Then I awaited for his last few calls before he would be leaving to go from Anchorage to Dutch Harbor. He then called me late last night(Monday) to say he was on his way home. The weather is so bad in Dutch Harbor the plane couldn't land. The boat he was to be on. Couldn't wait for him. So he is now on his way home. I am happy about this because in the last day and a half I have felt so empty with out him. He has a job interview for Friday so he will be able to stay home with his family. So I am going tonight at 8pm to pick him up at the Spokane airport. YAY. Last night was nice I got to see the pictures that my BFF took of my kids while she was here. They turned out great. Field fires in Rathdrum Idaho. I am so lucky!

I have never seen first hand or been near a wild fire. Today on my way home from work I got off the freeway and was heading up the side highway leading to my home. I got onto the highway and right away see smoke. I called Robert to see if he could see it. There was lots of it. I didn't know for sure where it was. I was ot find out so soon. It was two lights from my house. On each side of the highway are hay/wheat/ and alfalfa feilds. On the left, there where about 4 feilds on fire. The fire was right up to the highway road. I just wanted to get home. The left side of my face was burning, and it took a good ten minutes to get past it. I was worried I was gonna be stuck in a big traffic jam, and left next to a fire that was so close to jumping the highway. Like I said I wasn't there but ten minutes and before I knew it I was home. I am so thankful for the fire department here, they where able to get out the massive fire and prevent it from spreading to far. I am so lucky and hugged my kids a little tighter tonight.

Yea I am just PISSED

I am really upset I don't have a side kick and T-mobile said I don't but the webiste saying all I have been charged for that I do. hmmmmm and that I am not being charged but I am being charged and it got taken from my account. Now I have to make copies of everything and prove it. I am so pissed.
